Wow!!! Just Back from a long, but completely worth it weekend!!! Got Jake moved to Austin & his new apartment is (for lack of a better term) the shit!!!! Beautiful furnishings, spa tub, FIREPLACE (WHAT?????) and located right in the heart of South Congress Avenue. Jake & I spent the whole weekend trying to catch the sports scores with no cable (GO TEXANS/BENGALS SUCK) and shopping for his new place. His cable is set for installation tomorrow. Just talked to him after his first day @ school...He LOVES IT!!!!!! Yay! So just let me go on record as saying, Thank you God...I thought I would be so sad & distraught to be at home with no children after all these years of totally embracing being a single mom, but it's funny, when you feel like your kids are pursuing their passions, everything else kind of falls into place. Like I told my 2 girl dogs (Honey & Coco Chanel) and my little girl kitty (Blossom) "We're about to have a lot of crazy "Girl's Night's In"!!! Note to self: Life is what you make it...nothing more, nothing less... an oh yeah, I'm not the crazy Cat/Dog lady..they were just here willing to listen..lol
