Huge Celebrity Graces People Magazine Cover

Hey People!
Just finished reading my People Mag and guess who's on the front cover? If you guessed Kate Gosselin, I'm sorry to inform you that you'd be right! Why is she gracing the cover? Did she finally decide to step up & be a good mother and take her children & herself out of the spotlight for awhile to regroup as a family? Nope.
In fact, Kate says (about the kids) "They start counseling in two weeks. I'm definitely seeing that it's a major need at this point. For some, more than others, they're all really struggling with the absence of a parent." Note to Kate: in the interim, before the counseling sessions begin, why on earth would you spend a rumored $7,000-$14,000 and even more disturbing 15 HOURS (time that could have spent with your kids) getting hair extensions??????? Hmmm, seems to me like those kids are probably struggling with the absence of two parents right about now!

That's right folks, she is on the cover of a major magazine because of her Hair Extensions! I just don't get it! I come from a family of eight children and we all turned out o.k. (even if poor mom never got a chance to get her hair extensions!) I do however, remember when my Dad bought Mom a bright red wig for Christmas one year!!! She put it on and came downstairs and all of the littlest kids began screaming and crying...LMAO then & now...Now that's what I call a Christmas memory!!!

Oh well, to end my little rant of Kate, all I have to say is that if she hooks a decent man before I do just because she got hair extensions, false eyelashes and beautiful veneers this world has really gone crazy!! I mean really, put all that aside and she's got 8 kids under the age of 10....and I'm a HEN (Hot Empty Nester). That's gotta count for something!
