These are tough times my friends, and I know from experience that a bad attitude can only serve to amplify the situation. One of my favorite sayings that my mother used a lot during my teenage years was "don't walk around with such a chip on your shoulder." When things aren't going exactly how you'd planned, it can be easy to feel sorry for yourself and get down on yourself. This is exactly the time when you need to regroup and count your blessings. Stay positive and in the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson~ "Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it well and serenely."

P.S. Whenever I'm having a bad day, I just think about my two amazing kids and somehow I feel all better! So very proud to be their mommy.
