Please Save Gingersnap~Time is Almost Up
Tonight I am blogging just as fast as my fingers will let me. You see, time is of the essence for a sweet, sweet friend of mine. Let me introduce you to my beautiful, loyal, happy go lucky friend, Gingersnap. We all know that times are tough and unfortunately, Gingersnap was dropped off at the Rosenberg Animal Shelter just Southwest of Houston several weeks ago. Thankfully, one family's loss can turn out to be another family's treasure. I am reminded of a quote by Loius Sabin which says "No matter how little money and how few possessions you own, having a dog makes you rich." I could not agree more.
This beautiful lab/shep mix loves children & she loves to play. In fact, the day my friend and her son were there, Gingersnap dropped her toy for him to pick up so they could do just that... play! She's a smart, young, very trainable dog and like most humans, she is toy and treat driven.
Another quote that comes to mind and suits Gingersnap to a tee is by Henry Ward Beecher who says "The dog was created specially for children. He is the god of frolic."
So if you've been entertaining the idea of going out and looking for the perfect dog, look no more! If you have room in your home for this wonderful animal, she's anxiously waiting for her new family to come and retrieve her. As the owner of two much loved dogs I can attest to whoever said "Nobody can fully understand the meaning of love unless he's owned a dog. A dog can show you more honest affection with a flick of his tail than a man can gather through a lifetime of handshakes."
O.K. I know you're probably so excited that you won't even sleep tonight, right? I mean really, how many times do you read a blog and realize that you may have just stumbled upon the greatest addition to your family in a very long time? Here's the address so you can Google it and be the first one there!!

Do you think Gingersnap has any idea that tonight will be her very last night in the shelter? Tomorrow is a new day and you can make such a difference to this beautiful, deserving dog. Let me know when you get her home & settled in, then send me a picture. I'd love to blog about Gingersnap & her amazing new family!
:-)
Always remember to BELIEVE~
